Hello all! My name is Jack and this is where I art and scream over fictional characters. Gonna be mostly using this site to host my fancomic of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss: A Helluva World. I will most likely update by chapter after the first page is on here so it's going to take a while, but life's about the journey, not the destination. Never comic'd before now so this will be a fun learning experience for both that and coding, I wager. If you want more updates about this madness and my headcanons (which are just canon in this series, I guess), then follow my other sites where I post a little bit more often. See you around!
My Tumblr\ My Bluesky12/11/2024 11:58pm So, even though I don't have anything to post up here yet (other than some sick-ass music), I do want to make it a habit to log in here more and talk about what exactly is happening in this comic process of mine. Might try to squeeze it in once a week or so, I don't know yet. As I said above, I have 0 idea what I'm doing and really only figured out thumbnails like...yesterday so there's that.
Basically, I started drawing after a loooooong break in 2022 and, thankfully, haven't stopped again. I've always wanted to tell stories and prior to learning how to actually draw, most of my stories were written. Then I realized I probably not going to write an original novel that anyone will really read and enjoy (who has the time, Mary? Or the damn attention span?) and fanart at least can be done for commissions (fanfic cannot. I know, sad but true). As much as I like drawing and how a picture really is worth 1,000 words, it's still not enough...then I got a brilliant(ish) idea. Comics! I like comics, I read comics, why can't I make comics? That's gotta be...somewhat rewarding, right? And, to be honest, it has been. Even while still working a dull, non-art related 9-to-5 because I can't possibly rely on art to support me, I still find myself wanting to do it and drawing every day and what have you.
I am preparing to post a lot of that effort on here when I figure out the coding for images. Now, as frustrating as fandom can be, I don't create art not to share it. I just don't. I like sharing it and want others to share with me. The curse of the creator, eh? I am working on a separate, original comic which I will probs throw up on Patreon when I have enough for a chapter, but this little space is defs just for practice. Just a place I can post my ideas and the story as I wish we got it in the shows. Maybe, if I'm really lucky, someone else will appreciate the vision. Let's fucking go.
